Revive started in the fall of 2022 in the basement of the BYX house. A handful of us were praying for a move of God at UT and had no idea what we were doing. Four years later, we average 608 students every Wednesday night. Our biggest night drew over 3,000. I still don't fully understand it. God has been unreasonably kind to this ministry.
Here's the part I'll be straight with you about. Only about a third of our giving is recurring. The rest shows up as one-time gifts, and I never know when. So I plan conservatively. I say no to speakers, events, and hires I believe God is putting in front of us, because I can't commit money I'm not sure exists.
A $100 monthly gift changes that in a way a $500 check can't. When I know what's coming in each month, I can plan a semester, sign a lease, keep the food hot. That's the whole idea behind the Revive 100 Club: 100 founding members, $100 or more a month, $120,000 a year this ministry can actually build on.
If you join, you're not funding an institution. You're keeping a chair open on a Wednesday night for a student who doesn't know Jesus yet. That's worth being part of.
